Zaleski Stranahan / Rosato - Anticipation

On Anticipation, Colin Stranahan's 4th CD, he has put together a leaderless trio of youthful, award winning peers with pianist Glenn Zaleski and bassist Rick Rosato. They have been together as a group for less than a year yet their synergy would make you think they grew up playing together. They arrange the music together with reciprocity, each adding their own touch to a piece. A collection of uniquely arranged standards and thoughtful originals make up the repertoire. The majority of the tunes were done in one take in a live to two track environment with all the players in close proximity to one another.
