Yusuke Yukuta - Mother Shape

Yusuke Yukuta is a musician from Tokyo, Japan. He is the ex-guitarist of the popular afro beat band JARIBU AFROBEAT ARKESTRA and they have played at 2014 Fuji Rock festival. On the contrary, Yusuke Yukuta's solo album is produced in a minimalistic style, where he sings over one acoustic guitar and some toy percussions. But that is all you need to make this album so special as his vocals in Japanese are very unique and one of a kind which sounds like a rhyme, creating a nice groovy feeling. His guitars are worth mentioning too, playing catchy minimal phrases over and over which fills up the listener's mind. The album was recorded at home during 2014 following his mood in the constantly changing everyday life.
