2008 digitally remastered edition of the first album by this San Francisco Hard Rock/Metal band under their Y&T moniker (they were previously known as Yesterday & Today). Along with a handful of bands that would need no introduction to Heavy Metal fans the world over, Y&T did more than their fair share to make the '80s the all conquering decade that it so obviously was for Hard Rock. This 1981 album was the first of a blistering salvo of releases that set the bench mark high - almost too high! - for those that dared to follow. Earthshaker is a solid gold hard rockin' classic that sees it's first time release on CD here in a digitally remastered for that guarantees that it sounds better than it ever has.
