Will Penny

Charlton Heston stars in this fine western drama (reportedly the actor's favorite among his films) as aging ranch hand Will Penny, who finds Catherine Allen (Joan Hackett) and her son (Jon Gries) living on his boss's land. Penny falls for Catherine but has his hands full dealing with a sadistic preacher (Donald Pleasence) who wants revenge for the death of one of his sons. Ben Johnson, Lee Majors, Bruce Dern, Anthony Zerbe, and Slim Pickens also star. 109 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtracks: English Dolby Digital mono, French Dolby Digital mono; Subtitles: English.
