Wild West will probably shake the Southern rock scene, not only in France but also in the whole world ! in the footpath of LYNYRD SKYNYRD, BLACKFOOT and MOLLY HATCHET, this quintet shows a talent and professional attitude worthy of the best Anglo-Saxon productions. In another style, WHITE LION seems to be one of their major influences. After a first album made of thirteen personal compositions ("One", 1998), this line-up comes back quite strongly with "Second to None" (2003). a little less specialized than it's predecessor, this second wonderfully produced album directly competes with the best groups of the genre. The style is at the same time heavier and more conceptual but doesn't deny it's Southern rock roots. The compositions are at the same time more heavy-metal oriented as well as more rock, in the Seventies and Eighties tradition. We can particularly mention Rudy ROBERTS' performance on one track, who gets in a musical guitar fight with Erik DOMINECH. As the titles implies, "Live.
