Whitesnake had already released a string of top 10 albums in the UK, Europe and Japan before they conquered the entire world with 1987, which was certified multi-platinum and featured the smash single Here I Go Again. Now, to celebrate the record's 30th anniversary, 1987 is being given a deluxe reissue. The new package pairs the remastered album with an additional LP featuring a selection of unreleased bonus recordings.
