On the Road' (originally released on Gateway Records) is an album recorded in Pittsburgh, 1966 and sees Walt Harper team up Nat Harper (tenor saxophone), Jerry Elliott (trombone), Tommy McDaniel (bass), Bert Logan (percussion) and the Gloria Brisky Singers to interpret a diverse program of well known compositions including 'Shining Stockings' and 'Watermelon Man'.
