Vince Maloy was a rockabilly singer from Southern Maryland, who had six singles released on as many labels: Web, Tait, Angletone, End, Felsted and 1234. Vince made over 50 appearances on the "Milt Grant Show", the Washington D.C. area's version of "American Bandstand." He also appeared on the Felix Grant Show and the Buddy Deane Show in Baltimore. In addition, Maloy hosted three radio shows over the years. In the 1960s, Vince established himself as a night club performer who took his routine to Las Vegas, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, and played all over the Washington D.C. area. Maloy became good friends with Link Wray, sometimes sharing the stage with Link and the Wraymen. His ultra rare and hard to find 45 RPM singles have been sought after for many years by rockabilly and early rock n roll collectors. Featured here is one of the rarest, recorded for the New York City based Angletone label. Originally released in 1957, "Flying Love" b/w "Indeed I Do" is presented here newly remastered and finally available in the digital domain. .
