Un Chant D'amour

Writer Jean Genet's only film is a beautifully shot blend of art film and pornography. Using light and shadow, UN CHANT D'AMOUR (SONG OF LOVE) creates a sensual and sensuous black-and-white picture of two prisoners divided by a cell wall. Their separation limits their interaction, requiring them to communicate through knocking holes in the wall.
