After strip joint cocktail waitress Eileen Maloney (Suzy Amis) awoke to find her two young children gone, grizzled plainclothesman Lt. Brann (Fred Ward) came to take her statement. As he came to suspect foul play, the cop started taking psychologically abusive measures to get the mother to spill... and their interactions began taking decidedly improper turns, in Beth B's steamy two-hander inspired by the infamous Alice Crimmins case in 1960s NYC. 88 min.
