Hailing from the Camden, New Jersey / Philadelphia area, a part of the country that became a breeding ground for great vocal groups such as The O'Jays, Blue Magic and the Stylistics, three seasoned singers came together to form "Tru" - a highly versatile trio that brought the sweet sound of Philly Soul forward for a new generation. Since they've been active over the past few years, the group has been led by the extraordinary vocalist James "Jimi" Williams, and the equally gifted and charismatic Billy Maynor.
