Thirty years after his death, Magic Sam continues to be one of the primary influences on contemporary Chicago blues. This studio CD is a tribute to the legendary guitarist/singer/songwriter by prominent Chicago blues artists-Magic Slim & the Teardrops, Eddie Shaw & the Wolfgang with special guest Mighty Joe Young and J.W. Williams & the Chi-Town Hustlers with special guest Billy Branch. The tracks are evenly split between songs that Sam wrote and songs that he covered.
