Tommy Tate - Hold On: The Jackson Sessions Rare and Unreleased

Tim Whistsett presents a collection of rare and previously unreleased tracks by underground soul hero Tommy Tate who was a featured vocalist in Whitsett's band. Tommy also sang lead on three Stax sides by the Nightingales and was successful as a songwriter. This collection includes a number of Tate's song writing demos. Collection features 23 tracks including: The Whole World Is the Same, Friend of Mine, Get It Over Anyway, Cold And Lonely Man, Let US Be Heard (A Prayer for Peace), Never Too Busy and Something to Believe In.
