Tindersticks - Falling Down a Mountain

2010 album from the British Alt-Rock band. Gorgeously loose and supple, the album reveals a newly colorful, textured, dynamic and, at times, even exuberant musical personality for the band that broadens the album's diversity. Of course, the album remains tinged by the band's unique brand of 'Northern Soul' and 'bubbling cauldron' approach to Sonics anchored by leader Stuart Staples' inimitably intimate, deadpan voice that marked some of their most compelling earlier work. The overall result is a magnificent updating of the Tindersticks canon.
