Thunder in the Night

In Budapest, the passionate police captain Torok celebrates as his best friend, the Count Alvinczy, is elected President of Hungary. When Alvinczy falls prey to blackmail, Tokok investigates - and the plot thickens when the blackmailer is murdered. Although Alvinczys wife Madaline bears the brunt of public suspicion, Torok suspects there is more to this mystery than meets the eye.
