The Winslow Boy

Writer/director David Mamet's acclaimed adaptation of the 1946 Terence Rattigan play follows the true story of the Winslows, a 1910s English family whose teenage son, Ronnie, is accused of theft and expelled from the Royal Naval Academy. Patriarch Arthur Winslow (Nigel Hawthorne) hires a noted attorney (Jeremy Northam) to prove his son's innocence, but the trial is overshadowed by the effect events have on the household.
