The lecherous boss, the hot secretary, an era that proclaims anything goes - The Wild Affair captures the mid 1960's in all it's groovy glory. The story follows beautiful Marjorie Lee, who's looking for a bit of fun before she settles down to married life. She finds it at her company's Christmas orgy... er, party. As partygoers twist and shout, propositions flow. Will virtuous Marjorie accept one? This time capsule of a film fascinates not just for it's mirror on the '60s, but for it's unexpected and intriguing cast. Nancy Kwan, who broke onscreen racial barriers as the star of The World of Suzie Wong, sports a Vidal Sassoon bob and trendy Mary Quant threads as Marjorie. Terry-Thomas, a stalwart of postwar Brit comedy and one of the stars of It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, is the boss. Silent screen star Bessie Love, who once played Charleston-dancing flappers, portrays Marjorie's proper mum.
