The Walk

Spectacular visuals highlight co-writer/director Robert Zemeckis' true-life account of French high-wire artist Philippe Petit's (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) 1974 tightrope walk between the World Trade Center's twin towers. With help from an eclectic group of accomplices, former Paris street performer Petit would meticulously plan and execute a death-defying-and illegal-stroll to be taken over 1,300 feet above New York City.
