Inviting comparisons from Guy Maddin to Monty Python, this visually striking absurdist farce from Canada takes a skewed look at the young manhood of W.L. Mackenzie King, the efficient if eccentric three-time Prime Minister of the '20s through the '40s. The turn of the century found a clueless Mackenzie King (Dan Beirne) repeatedly flummoxed in his early political aspirations, as well as by his sexual inhibitions.
