The night before he was to fly out of Hong Kong to Tokyo, Air Marshal Sir John Hardie (Michael Redgrave) was regaled by a colleague (Michael Hordern) about a recent vivid dream-wherein a plane bearing Hardie and seven companions went down in the Pacific.
