The Man in the Net

Alan Ladd portrays a painter with an alcoholic and dissatisfied wife (Carolyn Jones). She disappears, leaving behind his slashed paintings. He is accused of murdering her, and flees to the woods. Among the pursuers: one of her former lovers; a tough cop.
