Pregnant Helen Tullet (April Pearson) was understandably transfixed in the street when she witnessed the suicide leap of her father (Jimmy Yuill) from his apartment building-so much so, she didn't hear the car coming. Awakening from her coma a year later, circumstances have forced her, her husband (Blake Harrison), and infant daughter to live in her dad's flat... which is also occupied by specters of his shrouded past.
