The House of the Lost on the Cape

In the wake of the 2011 tsunami, two traumatized girls-abused teen runaway Yui (voiced by Mana Ashida) and mute, orphaned 8-year-old Hiyori (Sari Awano)-happened upon elderly and kindly Kiwa (Shinobu Ôtake), who offered shelter at her quaint coastal bungalow. The abode would prove to have strange, benevolent properties, as well as it's share of fantastical neighbors, in this lyrical anime take on the Sachiko Kashiwaba novel. 100 min.
