An early silent feature Lubin Manufacturing Company with the final act shot at the Grand Canyon. Directed by Edgar Lewis the tale is based on the stage play by William Vaughn Moody (the play was first presented under the name The Sabine Woman). Ethel Clayton is an Easterner who wishes for a rough and unrefined man to marry. She, unhappily, gets her wish when she is abducted by a drunken prospector played by House Peters. The feature has a running time of 52 minutes and is from a 1080 transfer of a 35mm print.
