The Fall

Director Tarsem Singh's visually extravagant film follows the story of Roy Walker, an injured and depressed silent-era movie stuntman (Lee Pace) who befriends little Alexandria (Catinca Untaru) while recovering in a Los Angeles hospital. To persuade the child to bring him extra medicine, Walker beguiles Alexandria with a wild yarn about five heroic characters on a magical quest-with the tale's outcome holding powerful real-life consequences.
