A British scientist (Richard Dillane) assembles an expeditionary team to probe the Congo in quest of the legendary "mokele-mbembe," the region's answer to the Loch Ness Monster. When their copter crash-lands, however, the explorers discover the jungle is rife with prehistoric life... and that they might not get to share their findings.
