By 1986, Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson, Vera Farmiga) had sworn they were done with the uncanny trauma of paranormal consults. When the bizarre visions plaguing their now-grown daughter Julie (Mia Tomlinson) draw her towards the demon-plagued Pennsylvania abode of the Smurl family, her parents discover they've got one final inexplicable case to crack.
