The Brute

The title tough guy in question is Pedro (Pedro Armendáriz)-aka "the Brute"-a slaughterhouse worker hired by a Mexico City slumlord to keep the victimized tenants in line. Though effective in his methods, the intimidating enforcer goes soft for his boss's wife, complicating his job and his loyalties.
