The unusual comedy pairing of James Cagney and Bette Davis makes for lively romantic sparks. Hired by oil heiress Joan Winfield (Davis) to fly her and her boyfriend (Jack Carson) to Nevada so they can elope, freight pilot Steve Collins (Cagney) gets a better offer from Joan's father (Eugene Pallette) to abduct her and bring her home.
