The Belly of an Architect

Invited to Rome to curate an exhibition celebrating the work of Etienne-Louis Boulle, American architect Stourley Kracklite's (Brian Dennehy) personal obsession with the project drains the little attention he gives his younger, bored wife (Chloe Webb). As she is driven into the arms of a rival (Lambert Wilson), Kracklite's unbending fixation with the show-and his ever-worsening stomach pains-may cost him all, in Peter Greenaway's stylish effort. 118 min.
