Terri Hendrix - Cry Till You Laugh

Cry Till You Laugh surprises from the start, with Hendrix paying tribute with a cappella renditions of Dorothy Parker's "Wail" and "Theory" poems, interspersed with flourishes of her harmonica. Hendrix then shifts to a jazzy influence of selections written mostly by her plus several collaborations with longtime musical partner Lloyd Maines.
