You know, people, you let some hip western swing beboppers hang around too long after the show and things happen. A bunch of badasses get going. This is Bruce Forman's Cow Bop alright, but after hours, when the last fan has gone home and the musicians play till dawn. This is the Bob Wills that never got recorded, or the sound in Willie's mind, and Merle too. This is what Bird would have done if he stayed in Kansas City. This is an American art form, if you stop to think about it. But don't, this is too damn good to sit there thinking about. Just listen, dance, laugh, swing and bop. Hoo boy...Cow Bop. -Brick Wahl.
