UK collection that throws the spotlight on more than a quarter of a century's worth of singles from the mind and soul of Jerry Williams Jr. - better known as Swamp Dogg. Tracing his career from early purveyor of dance crazes to (briefly) being the black Jerry Lee Lewis, onto sublime mid '60s Soul and through to the classic Dogg sides of the ;70s and beyond, It's All Good really does display what those old '60s albums liked to term 'The Many Sides Of' this extraordinarily creative - and, happily for his fans, highly prolific - 'cult hero' of Soul. The recordings here span 1963 to 1989 and embrace every facet of Swamp's genius, from funky to far out and ecologically-minded to explicitly romantic. Many of the man's best known and best loved sides can be heard in it's 75 minutes - several for the first time on UK CD. Kent.
