Pianist Sumire Kuribayashi has launched a new project, 'Orbital Resonance,' 10 years after her debut!In 2014, jazz pianist Sumire Kuribayashi made a spectacular debut with her album 'TOYS,' released by the jazz label 'SOMETHIN'COOL,' which won the 'Disc Grand Prix New Star Award.' After performing with a variety of artists both in Japan and abroad since her debut, Sumire Kuribayashi has arrived at her new project, 'Orbital Resonance.' This work was created through the resonance of four people: Motohiko Ichino (guitar), Kyrie Anderson (drums), and Nilan Dasika (trumpet). The two songs 'Bittersweet' and 'Green Sprout' were composed by Motohiko Ichino, and the other songs are all original songs by Sumire Kuribayashi. Starting with 'Tanabata Song,' which expresses an encounter with someone, this beautiful album was produced with a focus on analog recording.
