Steve Brown Band - Soul Full Of Sin (1971-1972)

A masterpiece of jazz-funk inflected prog rock with killer basslines, long tracks, and some bonafide classics such as the stupendous opening track "Hitman" with it's infective bass and noirish lyric. This band were Newcastle's finest with a huge following, and brilliant musicians. #all 6 tracks are stone cold classics and this is one of the labels most recommended releases.
