Stakeout (aka Harikomi)

Two Tokyo cops board a train. Their assignment is to find theescaped killer of a Tokyo jeweler. Their plan is to stakeout thekiller's former girlfriend in hopes that she will lead them to him. She is living a pedestrian life as a mother of three stepchildren. This is much more than your average crime movie. It explores the lives of it's characters in a poignant, creative way not normally seen in films of this nature. A jazzy music score adds to the atmosphere. Subtitled in English. 35mm.
