Space 1999 - Classic Eagle Transporter 5.5" Die-Cast Ship

This is the first in a new line of models from Space 1999.

The Eagle Transporter made its debut in the show’s first episode “Breakaway”, when the moon leaves Earth’s orbit. It is one of the most iconic science fiction vehicles ever made. It was designed by Brian Johnson, who was inspired by his own work for the movie “2001 A Space Odyssey”. The idea was to make it modular, so the central pods could be changed for different missions, and there were several different versions.

The Transporter was the standard version. These stunning models are based on the acclaimed Sixteen 12 tooling. This model of the classic Eagle Transporter is 5.5 inches (13 cm) long and has a detachable pod. It is a similar size to Master Replicas’ Starship Library series.
