Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of albums from the New Jersey-based rocker. I Don't Want to Go Home (1976) and This Time It's for Real (1977) were Stax-influenced, R&B arranged and produced by the co-founder of the band and Springsteen confederate Steven Van Zandt and largely featured songs written by Van Zandt and/or Springsteen. Both albums feature a number of guest artists and duets. The track "How Come You Treat Me So Bad" features a duet with Lee Dorsey, while "Broke Down Piece of Man" features a duet with Steven Van Zandt, 'You Mean So Much to Me Baby' features a duet with Ronnie Spector. 'Check Mr. Popeye' features Kenny 'Popeye' Pentifallo on vocals with the Coasters on background vocals.
