A seasoned NYPD detective teams up with a Hasidic Jew to investigate a murder within the tightly-knit and insular Hasidic community. As they work together, they must navigate complex cultural and religious barriers that test both their skills and their beliefs. Along the way, they uncover a hidden web of secrets and tensions that challenge their partnership and force them to confront difficult questions about faith, justice, and loyalty within the community.
