Although the Skull Snaps self titled album contains drum breaks that have been sampled many times on various hip-hop records by well known acts such as Ol' Dirty Bastard, Das EFX, Eric B. & Rakim, Digable Planets, DJ Shadow, Rob Dougan, Black Moon, Guru and the Prodigy, the funk group released only one album in 1973 before disappearing. This single includes two of the great cuts culled from the legendary original LP.
