Actor Paul Bettany's writing and directorial debut is a powerful drama about the relationship between two homeless people living on the streets of New York City. When heroin-addicted Hannah's (Jennifer Connelly, Bettany's real-life wife) suicide attempt is stopped by Nigerian immigrant and vagrant Tahir (Anthony Mackie), it sparks an unexpected friendship that slowly develops into something much more meaningful.
