Shayna Steele began her career on Broadway as a star in Rent, Jesus Christ Superstar, and the original production of Hairspray. She went on to become perhaps one of the most sought after backup and demo vocalists in popular music (Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, Rihanna, and Bette Midler have all enlisted her).
