Dogon Revisited (in honor of Julius Hemphill's Dogon AD) is saxophonist Salim Washington's newest recording. Salim Washington's music is lyrical and pointedly understated, but uses it's power as an accent. The group on Dogon Revisited is lithe, flexible and highly expressive.
