McLean, Brian Littrell and in the CCM world he's produce and written with TobyMac, Mandisa, Brandon Heath, Building 429, Kari Jobe, Jamie Grace, Audio Adrenaline, Tenth Avenue North, Tim Timmons, The Almost, Kerrie Roberts, Royal Tailor, Group 1 Crew and many others. His songs have been popular with Film/TV including GLEE, American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, Sister Wives, Extreme Makeover, Butler has won 2 Grammy Awards for his work on TobyMac's "This Is Not A Test" and Mandisa's "Overcomer" albums, as well as a GMA Dove Award for his work on Mandisa's "Overcomer" album.
