Robyn Dell'Unto with a guitar wields the same power as Cupid with a gun. She can break your heart into a million pieces and put you back together with a single song. Like love, it's a good pain. As a former finalist in the YouDiscover 2009 Concert Series, Robyn impressed the judges and was signed to a full recording contract with Orange Lounge's new imprint for emerging artists, inDiscover Recordings. She was first urged by her friend Kevin Hall to compete in the annual YouDiscover summer concert series as she was already been making waves online by way of her MySpace and AmieStreet profiles. Robyn's music and reach is indicative of the inDiscover Recordings mantra: to discover and get discovered online. She is already breaking the industry with her singles "Ghost" (recently featured in the second season finale of CBC's Being Erica), and her cover of Justin Hines's "Another Way To Cry" was also recently featured in the new Disney Channel movie "Harriett The Spy: Blog Wars." In early 2010, it was announced that Robyn was working on a new album, which would boast several new tracks as well as classic Robyn songs. The album was titled 'I'm Here Every Night', which happens to be the first line out of a new track 'Astronaut'. The album was said to be released in mid September. On August 3, 2010 it was announced that Robyn also has a documentary being made about her. Robyn's first single off 'I'm Here Every Night' would be 'Just A Bird' which was shot the summer of 2010 in Toronto, which featured Robyn in a bird costume walking through busy streets pulling a wagon. On September 14th, 'I'm Here Every Night' was released digitally on Amazon and iTunes. The album is available for purchase at the following iTunes link: Robyn Dell'Unto iTunes The album hit shelves on September 21st and on the same day, Robyn took part in Toronto's 'Busking for Change' event, where she performed on Toronto streets for War Child donations. She also graciously gave proceeds of her first day album sales to War Child.
