Richard Keith - Caught in the Act

When I first discussed this new album with Steve Hansen, we both agreed that rather than building tracks as we had done on the first album, we should try to get as close to a live sound as possible. Lucky for me, ace drummer Martin Stroh was available. For me, he's the closest thing to having Jim Keltner around; a drummer of many different styles, with a real, natural feel for the song. We did all the main guitar work, vocals, drums, and harmonica live. Background vocals and a few other embellishments were added later. Steve's signature guitar work can be heard on Little Darling, where he really let's fly, and on Occasional Playboy where he does some very atmospheric work playing slide on his Gibson Dove. I couldn't be happier with the way the album turned out, hope that you all enjoy these songs.
