The second album 'opa*q' was one of Rei Harakami's early works. It was released in 1999, one year after his sensational debut 'unrest,' and re-released in 2005 as a special edition with two bonus tracks. This album, which became a masterpiece of the Japanese techno scene, has been out of print for a long time, and it's reissue has been long awaited.' I had originally planned to release a single with two remixes, but I thought since it's a CD, I wanted to put more songs on it, so it kind of turned out to be like an album.
