In 1996, French TV producer Sophie Toscan du Plantier was found slain at her County Cork vacation house... and the local authorities found insufficient evidence to proceed against the prime suspect, journalist neighbor Ian Bailey (Colm Meaney). Director-writer-co-star Jim Sheridan's courtroom drama audaciously stages the jury deliberations for a murder trial that never took place-with the last holdout juror (Vicky Krieps) determined to sway the panel otherwise. Aidan Gillen, John Connors also star. 89 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English; theatrical trailers.
