From the swamps of Florida to the bewitched woods of Pennsylvania, Ratsmagick is the collective breath of an East coast that lurks just on the edge of every city; the constant vigil of agriculture, ancient belief, and nature's dream to once again lay claim to the stone of every street and building. Crafted meticulously by Dennis Martinelli with layer upon layer of instrument recorded with just a single mic and the sound of the spaces he lodged in, his first album 'Hushing the Sparkling Well' creaks and crumbles, dancing at time but never in it.
