Goldie Hawn stars as a pampared princess who joins the army after her new husband drops dead on their wedding night. With the help of Captain Lewis (Eileen Brennan), Private Benjamin will not look forward to privilages she onced showered herself in. a few misadventures later Private Benjamin turns out to be one good soldier.
